We are a privately owned business founded in 2007 by Paul Alexander and Will Beresford and we have Visa Europe as a shareholder.

Front End Developer - London

The Role:

As part of our internal expansion, we are looking for a proactive individual to join our Product Development team. You will play a pivotal role in developing, deploying and supporting the front-end technology of our flagship product.

Your day-to-day tasks will likely include:

  • Liaising with other members of the development team to understand and develop requirements for new features as well as changes to the existing platform;
  • Designing solutions based on identified requirements;
  • Taking responsibility for the performance, integrity, availability and accessibility of the front-end systems;
  • Management and monitoring of front-end systems to ensure that issues are quickly identified and resolved;
  • Liaising with clients directly to efficiently resolve any end user issues;
  • Producing and maintaining accurate technical documentation;

Desired Skills and Experience:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a year’s experience in developing Node.js web applications, preferably with an element of data visualisation. The required skills include:

  • Extensive knowledge of Node.js web application architecture and development;
  • Proven proficiency in JavaScript (and/or CoffeeScript);
  • Proven proficiency in HTML5/CSS3 (including HTML5 Canvas);
  • Good knowledge of MongoDB;
  • Good understanding of caching systems (e.g. Redis);
